What is Queso?
Queso is the new photobooth from Photobooth Supply Co.
When will Queso be available?
The first 200 Queso units will begin shipping in late September. They will be shipped in order, and the final orders placed will likely arrive in October. The next 100 should release before the end of 2017, but we feel most comfortable taking those deposits for 2018. We will have more concrete dates as we get closer to launch.
How much does Queso cost?
Queso is available for a low membership cost of $399 a month. There are multiple purchase options, but we think this is likely to be the most popular option. Take a look at our pricing page below to see details of some options!
Can I have Queso on my current booth?
Queso is hardware and software working in concert. It is not something that can be put on another booth, because it is a booth. It’s not something that can run other software, because it is software.
Why is it called Queso?
Spanish for cheese, queso represents smiles. Say cheese is the universally accepted phrase to bring out smiles when taking a photo.
Why is there a wait?
Queso is currently in the final phase of its rigorous testing process. We will not release the booth until we have put it through more events than you ever will. We are still selling and supporting our current photobooth. you can find more information about it here.
What is QuesOS?
QuesOS is our custom built software. It has been designed to work perfectly with Queso. The driving philosophy for QuesOS was to build a software that anyone could learn to use in less than five minutes.
Can you tell me more about the Trailblazer Program?
We value every person that has ever bought a photobooth from us. Because of this, we designed an incredible program that will allow you to trade in your booth for fair market value. No other company has ever done anything like this in our industry.
What if I don't like your assessment of my booth?
Our preliminary, pre-shipment, assessment is based on photos you send to us, based on directions from our support team. As long as those photos represent an accurate condition of your booth, the original assessment will match the final one.
Who pays for shipping the booth with the Trailblazer Program?
You are responsible for shipping your booth to us for the Trailblazer Program, and we will have extensive documentation that should help you with this process!
Can I switch to cash halfway through my membership?
You can pay the remainder of your membership payments if you’d like.
I'm currently leasing my photobooth. Can I switch to Queso?
People who have leased their Legacy booth are responsible for those payments, but they will still be able to take part in the Trailblazer Program. Details of that are specific to your previous lease, so please contact us once sales of Queso are open for a discussion.
What printer does Queso use, and do I have to buy media from you?
We're using the Mitsubishi K60. This printer is one of the gold standards for reliability and offers a more consistent and predictable connection than any other that we tested. You can buy your media from anywhere--Amazon, B&H, Imaging Spectrum, or wherever works best. You'll also be receiving a media kit with your purchase, so you'll have plenty of starter paper and ink!
How does a Queso Membership compare to cash?
This is totally up to you! Many of our owners find that the benefits of having a full warranty and no significant up front payment make Membership a compelling choice.
How does text and email sharing work?
Each Queso unit will come pre-set with a unique account for sending SMS/MMS messages as well as emails. These accounts include enough free messages for most users every month. Going over the limit will result in paying a small fee per text or email, similar to what you'd pay to your current services, although it may be slightly more. And yes, you will still be able to customize the "sent" account to ensure that people reply directly to you.
What if I go over my SMS / MMS?
When you use more than the included SMS/MMS messages, don't worry! Each is only an additional $0.10 and is added to your QuesOS payment automaticallly.
What are the hours for extended support?
Our current plan is to provide near full day coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with business hours during the rest of the week. We intend to expand this to 24/7 coverage by the end of 2018.
Can I switch my order from Membership to cash?
Your order isn't complete until you decide what to go with! Once we reach September, you can select the pricing option that works best for you.

How much is shipping?
Shipping to the Contiguous United States is free for a limited time. Please reach out to us for a custom quote for everywhere else.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card, check, or bank transfer for cash purchases. Membership owners can pay their monthly membership through ACH or check.
Is sales tax included?
Sales taxes are not included in any of the pricing options and vary by state.
